Italiano: Il Bozzetto di affresco votivo per la peste del 1656 di Mattia Preti è un quadro (olio su tela, cm 127 x 75) che si trova a Napoli nel Museo di Capodimonte (inv. Q 262), nella Galleria Napoletana.
Mattia Preti aveva avuto l'incarico di decorare con un affresco la sommità di ciascuna delle sette porte della città di Napoli. Di questi affreschi, che dovevano rappresentare ciascuno la peste a Napoli con la Vergine ed i vari santi protettori della città, oggi se ne conserva solo ancora quello di Porta San Gennaro. Al Museo di Capodimonte si conservano invece ancora due dipinti che li riproducono, che sono i bozzetti realizzati dallo stesso artista. Deutsch: Entwurf für das Pest |
