English: Convoy of rafts (Keleks) making on its way down the Tigris river loaded with antiquities in 1855. The rafts and accompanying ship were attacked by local tribes and then sunk near Al Qurnah (near Basra). Much of the treasures were lost to the river.
Français : Convoi de radeaux (Keleks) qui descendait le Tigre chargé d'antiquités en 1855. Les radeaux et le navire qui les accompagnait furent attaqués par des tribus locales puis coulèrent près d'Al Qurnah (près de Bassora). Une grande partie des trésors a été perdue dans la rivière
Deutsch: Konvoi von Flößen (Keleks) auf dem Weg den Tigris hinunter, beladen mit Antiquitäten im Jahr 1855. Die Flöße und das dazugehörige Schiff wurden von lokalen Stämmen angegriffen und dann in der Nähe von Al Qurnah (in der Nähe von Basra) versenkt. Ein Großteil der Schätze ging dem Fluss verloren.
