English: Portrait of King Gongmin of Goryeo and his wife in Jongmyo Shrine. After the founding of Joseon, Lee Taejo painted portraits of King Gongmin of Goryeo and his wife and enshrined them in Jongmyo of Joseon for the purpose of legitimizing the founding of Joseon. This also means that Goryeo ended with King Gongmin.
